Meeting of health ministers of German-speaking countries

In Zurich, Alain Berset hosts the health ministers of Germany (Jens Spahn), Austria (Brigitte Zarfl), Liechtenstein (Mauro Pedrazzini) and Luxembourg (Etienne Schneider). This “quintet” has met every year since 2013.
On the agenda: the safe use of health data, fair access to innovative medicines, medical and non-medical use of cannabis. In a joint declaration, the five countries commit to using data to improve care while guaranteeing patients control over their data.
