Council of Europe treaty strengthening criminal-asset recovery opened for signature
14 October 2026 — Strasbourg · The signing ceremony took place at the Palais de l’Europe in Strasbourg. Georgia, Greece, Hungary, Luxembourg, Monaco, Montenegro, San Marino and the United Kingdom were the first of the 46 Council of Europe member states to sign the treaty, which has been opened for signature on the first day of this year’s Octopus conference on cybercrime.
