Opening of the 100th Muba
15 April 2016
On the same day, Alain Berset opens the hundredth edition of the Muba, the Basel sample fair: “100 years of progress. 100 years of enriching our daily lives.”
He sees a link between direct democracy and inventiveness. Switzerland, he says, is “a sample fair on a grand scale”, and the Birchermüesli “die Mutter aller Kompromisse”.
