Opening of Manifesta 11

In Zurich, Alain Berset opens the 11th edition of Manifesta, the European biennial of contemporary art, under the title “What People Do for Money”. Thirty artists have worked with Zurich professionals from every trade.

He notes that the title could be that of Euro 2016, which begins the same day in France. Faced with the fourth industrial revolution, he says, only one thing is certain: creativity will count.
