Federal Music Festival 2016

At the official day of the 34th Federal Music Festival, Alain Berset speaks to the country’s bands: “Music is a literature of the senses accessible to all.”

It is played at baptisms, weddings and funerals; it has, he says, a social function. In a country of four languages, it is what everyone understands.
