“Europe meets Swiss eHealth” conference

Alain Berset opens the “Europe meets Swiss eHealth” conference, held on the sidelines of the IHE Connectathon. He starts with a question to the audience: who has never booked a holiday or paid online? “The digital revolution does not stop at the doors of our health system.”

He presents the eHealth Switzerland strategy adopted by the Confederation and the cantons in 2007 and the draft law on the electronic patient record, which the Federal Council has instructed the FDHA to prepare by the end of the year.
