Admission of doctors and National Health Policy

On 5 November, at a conference in Berne, Alain Berset concludes the consultation on reintroducing, for three years, the restriction on the admission of doctors. Since the freeze was lifted at the beginning of the year, applications for billing numbers have risen sharply. Dispatch to Parliament planned for the 2013 spring session.

The next day, at the Zentrum Paul Klee, he opens the 14th Working Conference of the National Health Policy, devoted to “outpatient care for the future”. The no to managed care has not buried integrated care, he says; he welcomes the cantons’ support for the needs clause.
