SwissnexDay: brain circulation
12 November 2012
The annual conference of the swissnex science consulates is devoted to “brain circulation”. Alain Berset quotes Kissinger: “there is nothing more international than science”. 35% of scientific articles are the result of international cooperation.
Half of the teaching staff at Swiss universities come from abroad. He defends openness to people, ideas and goods as the foundation of prosperity, and the role of the swissnex offices in Boston, San Francisco, Singapore, Shanghai and Bangalore.
