Courtesy visit by Viktor Orbán

Alain Berset and the head of the FDFA, Ignazio Cassis, receive Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Berne for a courtesy visit. The initiative came from Budapest.
On the agenda: bilateral relations, Hungary as a beneficiary of the Swiss cohesion contribution (vocational training, research, innovation), the Hungarian presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2024, the Middle East and Ukraine. Switzerland restates its aim to “stabilise and develop the bilateral path” with the European Union.
