Informal meeting of European health ministers in Malta

In Valletta, Alain Berset takes part in the informal meeting of health ministers organised by the Maltese Presidency of the Council of the EU and chaired by Minister Chris Fearne.
Three themes: childhood obesity, HIV/AIDS — 30,000 new cases a year in the EU, EFTA and Switzerland — and cross-border cooperation on access to advanced technologies and specialised care, particularly for rare diseases.
