Launch of the master plan “Family medicine and primary care”

Two days after the no to managed care, Alain Berset and the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Health Directors launch a master plan in support of family medicine. It takes up the main demands of the popular initiative “Yes to family medicine”, pending in Parliament.
Three strands: funds for teaching family medicine at universities, better remuneration of laboratory tests carried out in doctors’ practices, a revision of the Tarmed tariff in favour of primary care.
