Swiss Food Industry Day (fial)

Before the Federation of Swiss Food Industries, Alain Berset talks salt and sugar. The Swiss consume on average nine grams of salt a day; the WHO recommends five. Working with the industry, the salt content of bread has been brought below 1.5 grams per 100 grams, “without anyone noticing”.
He recalls the memorandum signed a month earlier at Expo Milano to reduce sugar in yoghurts and cereals, without any new law.
