3 July 2022 - 4 July 2022
Alain Berset hosts the Italian Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, in Graubünden for two days of talks. On the agenda: taking stock of the Covid-19 crisis and the way ahead, the distribution of vaccines abroad through COVAX, monkeypox, strengthening the WHO, cost containment and the digitalisation of medical data.
The two ministers visit the Rega base in Samedan, which in 2020 had transferred Covid patients from northern Italy; the talks continue the next day on board the Bernina Express, from Samedan to Chur.
