Venice Art Biennale: inauguration of the Swiss Pavilion
20 April 2022 - 23 April 2022
On 21 April, Alain Berset inaugurates the Swiss Pavilion at the 59th Venice Art Biennale, “Le Concert” by Latifa Echakhch, conceived with the composer Alexandre Babel and the curator Francesco Stocchi. In his speech, he links the work, which explores the ephemeral and the permanent, to the upheaval caused by the war in Ukraine.
The stay includes a meeting with the Pro Helvetia Board of Trustees, a visit to the Austrian Pavilion with State Secretary Andrea Mayer and, on 22 April, a visit to the Ukrainian Pavilion at the invitation of the Italian Minister of Culture, Dario Franceschini, together with other ministers of culture.
