Swiss Performing Arts Award 2016 to Compagnia Baccalà

14 April 2016

At the opening gala of the Swiss Performing Arts Fair in Thun, the Swiss Performing Arts Award is presented to the clown duo Compagnia Baccalà, Camilla Pessi and Simone Fassari, in the presence of Alain Berset.

He salutes the “A cappella-Sängerinnen, Action-Comedy-Darsteller, Akrobatinnen und Artisten” and all the disciplines of the small stage, and draws a definition from them: “Verknappung und Verdichtung: Das ist keine kleine Kunst. Im Gegenteil: Das ist Kleinkunst.”
