Informal meeting of EU health ministers

In Amsterdam, Alain Berset takes part in the informal meeting of the health ministers of the European Union, chaired by the Dutch minister Edith Schippers.
On access to innovative treatments at an acceptable price, he raises the difficulty of reconciling thriving pharmaceutical research with affordable prices. On improving foodstuffs, he presents the Swiss nutrition strategy, pursued with industry and based on reducing salt and sugar. He also holds talks with his counterparts from neighbouring countries.
