European Heritage Heads Forum 2016

From 18 to 21 May, the Federal Office of Culture hosts in Berne the 11th annual meeting of the forum of European heritage heads. Alain Berset addresses the participants at Schadau Castle in Thun.

“Our cultural heritage is the exact opposite of national stereotypes.” Switzerland, reduced to cheese, banks and chocolate, was already an industrial power when Johanna Spyri was born, in 1827.
