30 years of the Convention on the Rights of the Child

For the thirtieth anniversary of the UN Convention, Alain Berset speaks at a day devoted to the right of children and young people to participate. Switzerland acceded to it in 1997.

“Gute Familien sind ein bisschen wie die Schweiz”: not dictatorships, but democracies of negotiation. And the rule for adults: “We must talk less about them. We must talk with them.”
