UNESCO Forum of Ministers of Culture
19 November 2019
On the sidelines of the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference, Alain Berset takes part in the Forum of Ministers of Culture, opened by the Director-General, Audrey Azoulay.
In his statement, he defends cultural participation: promoting culture means enabling everyone to access it and take part in it, and so strengthening social cohesion. He links building culture and the Davos process launched by Switzerland to this. He then visits the Centre culturel suisse in Paris.
