Inauguration of the Novartis cell and gene therapy site

In Stein (Aargau), Alain Berset inaugurates the Novartis production site devoted to cell and gene therapies.

He stresses the link between the company and Switzerland as a research location: Novartis accounts for a large share of the country’s research and development spending, and finds specialists in Switzerland and a network with the Federal Institutes of Technology and the universities.
