75th assembly of the Conference of Cantonal Directors of Social Affairs

Before the SODK, meeting for its 75th annual assembly, in the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs of Baden-Württemberg, Alain Berset outlines federal social policy.
He recounts the question an Indian minister had put to him: what advice would he give for reforming a country like India? The Swiss answer, he says, lies in the patient search for compromise.
