Informal meeting of European Union health ministers

At the invitation of Greek Health Minister Spyridon-Adonis Georgiadis, whose country holds the EU Presidency, Alain Berset takes part in the informal meeting of health ministers. Switzerland is regularly invited.
Two topics: migration and public health, then the economic crisis and health systems. Since 2002 Switzerland has run a national Migration and Health programme, extended until 2017. On the sidelines, he holds bilateral talks with several ministers.
