Primary medical care: talk in Lucerne

One month before the vote, Alain Berset defends the constitutional article on primary medical care in Lucerne. He quotes the humanist Albrecht von Bonstetten, for whom Lucerne was “recht Nabel und das Mittel der Eidgenossenschaft”, and takes care to remain neutral between the carnivals of Lucerne and Basel.

The argument: medicine needs both cutting-edge care and primary care, and the latter rests on family doctors, who lack successors.
