Memorandum with China on higher education

In Berne, Alain Berset and the Chinese Vice-Minister of Education, Du Zhanyuan, sign a memorandum on cooperation in higher education.
The text raises to 25 a year the maximum number of exchange scholarships for young researchers, provides for the waiving of tuition fees for up to 30 advanced students, and involves the Chinese ministry in the Sino-Swiss science cooperation programme launched in 2008.
