Swiss Film Award 2013

That same evening, at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, Alain Berset opens the 16th Swiss Film Award ceremony, streamed live on the Internet for the first time. In three languages, and with humour: as health minister, he asks people to help the winners staggering under the weight of their Quartz. After a three-week session, he says he is glad to leave the “falschen Film”. And he recalls Billy Wilder’s three commandments: “Thou shalt not bore.”

Ursula Meier’s “L’Enfant d’en haut” wins the awards for Best Fiction Film, Best Screenplay and Best Actor (Kacey Mottet Klein). Markus Imhoof’s “More than Honey” is Best Documentary. Jacqueline Veuve receives the honorary award for her life’s work.
