In Basel, Alain Berset opens the second Swiss Russian Health Forum, after a first edition in Moscow in October 2011. He recalls the Bernoullis and Euler, Basel scholars who went to St Petersburg.

He cites the OECD reports on the Russian and Swiss health systems and argues for cooperation on chronic diseases and ageing. Three months later, he is in Moscow (entry 74).
