150 years of La Liberté

The Fribourg daily celebrates its 150th anniversary. Alain Berset addresses the “friends of editorials and columns” by way of a detour: another “Liberté”, French-speaking and Catholic, born in 1913 in Winnipeg, which declared itself “not and never a political sheet”.

He speaks about the role of the regional press and its independence, at a time of crisis for the media.
