Centenary of the Swiss Veterinary Service

Back from Vienna, Alain Berset celebrates the hundredth anniversary of the Swiss Veterinary Service, three months after the creation of the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (FSVO).

He starts from current events: African swine fever has reached Lithuania and Poland, and the FSVO restricted imports from 27 February. “Zum Glück gibt es das BLV!”
