Fête des Vignerons added to UNESCO intangible heritage list

UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Committee inscribes the Fête des Vignerons on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In Vevey, Alain Berset speaks at the celebration, before the Vaud and Vevey authorities and the Abbé-Président of the Confrérie des Vignerons.
He compares the effect of the inscription to “the beginnings of a sensation that might be akin to intoxication”. A “light and joyful” intoxication.
