Association of Former Members of the Federal Assembly

Alain Berset addresses former federal parliamentarians, as a former member of the Council of States and as a member of the government. He describes how quickly he left Parliament: the announcement of the result on 14 December shortly before noon, the swearing-in, then sixteen days before taking office.

He speaks of his joy at having taken over the FDHA, “ein äusserst vielfältiges Departement”, and talks about it with humour.
